Whole Foods 5% Day Benefiting the Friends of the Lynnfield Library

Please join the Friends of the Lynnfield Library at Whole Foods, MarketStreet in Lynnfield on Wednesday, September 24, 2014.  Five percent of Whole Foods’ net sales on that day will be donated to the Friends of the Lynnfield Library!  Several times a year Whole Foods holds community giving days where this generous five percent donation is made to a local nonprofit or educational organization.  On this occasion, the Friends are honored to have been selected.

Library Director Nancy Ryan reports that “we can use the funds for kids and teen cooking classes, Curious about Cuisine programming for adults, and the purchase of eBooks, DVDs, magazines and print books for all ages and interests.”  The Friends partnership with Whole Foods will make it possible for the library to expand its offerings in nutrition, agriculture, gardening and related topics.

Since the amount of the donation directly relates to the day’s sales, please come to Whole Foods on September 24, 2014 and shop from the great variety of foods and other products available at their store.  The Friends greatly appreciate support from the community and look forward to seeing you there
