YMCA of Greater Boston Adds Reza Aghamirzadeh to General Board

Helping to Further the Y's Mission to Strengthen the Community through Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility

The YMCA of Greater Boston is pleased to announce Reza Aghamirzadeh, executive vice president and director of community development at Citizens Bank, as a new member of the General Board.

Aghamirzadeh brings more than 20 years of experience in community development and 25 years in the financial services industry. At Citizens Bank, he oversees the company’s Community Development and CRA program management activities, including affordable lending and investment programs, community outreach, and regulatory compliance requirements. Prior to Citizens Banks, he served as senior vice president and manager for community development at Huntington Bank and was the division executive for the Community and External Affairs division of Seattle-based Washington Mutual, Inc, where he led targeted programs to help underserved communities and corporate/employee giving.Before joining Washington Mutual, Aghamirzadeh worked as senior vice president and director of the Community Development division for U.S. Bancorp in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
