'Zip Trip' Comes To Town Tomorrow Morning

Fox 25 will be filming its live "Zip Trip" segment in Lynnfield this Friday morning, August 10, from 6 to 10 a.m. at the at 505 Main Street.

The station is encouraging as many residents as possible to come down during the filming to show their community spirit.

For those who are unfamiliar with the format, the Fox 25 Boston website has footage and photos from previous Zip Trips. Last week, they were in Abington, and from now through August 31, when the Zip Trip season apparently wraps up, they will visit Sturbridge, Carver and Gloucester.

The Zip Trips typically feature local residents, business and landmarks. One Lynnfield business that will apparently show up on the broadcast is in Post Office Square, at around 8:30 a.m. Fox 25 also reportedly paid a visit to in the Kernwood Plaza.

In anticipation of the visit, the Lynnfield Police issued a reminder earlier in the week for commuters to be prepared for heavier than usual traffic on Main Street Friday morning.
