Malden Farmer's Market Returns To City Hall Plaza

MALDEN, MA — The Malden Farmers Market returns to City Hall Plaza on Wednesday for another week of its 2026 season.

The weekly market features local farms, food vendors, artisans and community organizations selling fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, handcrafted items and other products. This week's market is also expected to include live music and a children's craft activity.

The market runs Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. through Wednesday, Oct. 28, marking an expansion from its inaugural season last year. According to Malden Festivals, the market grew from a 13-week schedule in 2025 to 20 weeks this year after attracting more than 5,000 visitors during its first season. Organizers also added three block party-style market dates this year featuring additional entertainment and activities in downtown Malden.

Vendors are expected to rotate throughout the season and include local farmers, bakers, specialty food producers, artisans and nonprofit organizations. The market also accepts SNAP/EBT, the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP), the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program and the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program, allowing eligible shoppers to purchase fresh food using nutrition assistance benefits.

The market is held at Malden City Hall Plaza, 215 Pleasant St. Admission is free and open to the public.
