Residents Displaced After Malden Apartment Fire

MALDEN, MA — Four people were displaced in the aftermath of an apartment fire on Wednesday, according to Malden Fire Chief Stephen Froio.

Crews responded to the blaze at 92 Devir St. shortly after 4:30 p.m., where the fire was located in the kitchen of an apartment. Firefighters extinguished the flames using a handline and fire extinguisher, Froio told Patch. Four occupants of the residence were displaced as a result of the fire.

According to Froio, no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
