MALDEN, MA — A driver was taken to the hospital after a vehicle rolled over on a city roadway Saturday night.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:13 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, on Sylvan Street. A dark-colored sedan flipped onto its roof in the middle of the roadway, leaving the driver trapped inside.
The Malden Fire Department said responding crews were able to stabilize the vehicle before safely extricating the driver. Engines 1 and 2, Ladder 3 and Car 2 responded to the scene with Group 1 on duty.
The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
