📰 News we're reading

• Historic Malden Church Closes After More Than A Century (patch.com) — First Lutheran Church, one of Malden's oldest congregations, has closed after more than 130 years and will merge with Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Woburn to form Hope Lutheran Church. While most activities will shift to Woburn, the new congregation plans a monthly worship presence in Malden, and the longtime church property on Church and Waite streets is now on the market.

• An inside look at Boston's new Holocaust Museum (jewishjournal.org) — A new Holocaust Museum is rising on Tremont Street in downtown Boston, and its co-founder, Jody Kipnis, grew up in Malden. The museum will feature an authentic railcar and interactive exhibits that connect Holocaust history to questions about democracy, antisemitism, and personal responsibility, aiming to spark ongoing reflection and conversation across Greater Boston.
