1 Dead in I-95 Crash in Norwood
State Police said three vehicle were involved in the crash.
One person died in a multi-car crash on Interstate 95 in Norwood Friday night.
State Police said three vehicle were involved in the crash, which happened at about 4 p.m. near Neponset Street on the southbound side of the highway.
The Boston Globe reported one person died. It was unclear how many more were injured.
A medical helicopter landed near the highway to transport a victim to a local hospital.
The crash created huge traffic delays in the region. The southbound side of the highway was completely shutdown at one point. It reopened by about 7 p.m.
