2 Killed When Truck Hits Guardrail, Bursts Into Flames on Route 495
The crash happened early Monday morning in Wrentham.
Two people were killed on Route 495 in Wrentham Monday when a truck struck a guardrail and burst into flames, police said. A third person was seriously injured.
The crash happened at about 12:15 a.m. near Exit 15 on the southbound side of the highway.
“For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle struck a section of guardrail and became engulfed in flames,” State Police said in a statement.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released. The injured victim was flown by a medical helicopter to a local hospital.
