2 From Mansfield Electric Assisting Hurricane Irma Recovery
Two workers from the town's electric department are helping turn the power back on in Orlando.

MANSFIELD, MA β As Hurricane Irma made its approach to Florida and residents were rushing to get out of the state, two Mansfield Electric employees were preparing to travel to the Sunshine State.
Sean Curran, a member of the town's electric department, told the Everything Mansfield Facebook page Saturday that himself and a co-worker were leaving Sunday to join up with a bucket truck caravan to Orlando to give mutual aid and help restore power in the area.
Curran told WFXT that he signed up when he got word from his boss Thursday that the area was seeking assistance. He said he does not know what to expect and it could be harder to stay safe because he is unfamiliar with Orlando-area utility systems.
