3 Pull Papers To Run For Open Mansfield Selectmen Seat

The special election is to fill the seat left open by the passing of George Dentino.

MANSFIELD, MA — Three candidates have emerged in the race to join the Mansfield Board of Selectmen.

Neil Rhein of Old North Trail, Matthew Donnelly of Shawmut Avenue and Allen Bryer of Copeland Drive, have pulled papers, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Candidates must obtain the signatures of 50 registered Mansfield voters by Sept. 26 to make the ballot. The seat became open after Dentino passed away from head trauma.
