7 Dogs Found in Mansfield Home by Police and Animal Control
The dogs were found in the condo of a man recently charged with animal cruelty in Quincy.

Seven dogs were found by Mansfield Police and Animal Control Thursday morning in an apartment rented by a man arrested and charged with animal cruelty in Quincy
According to police, authorities learned that there could be up to seven dogs in a condo that have not been cared for in the past 48 hours.
The condo owner David Aristide, was arrested by the Quincy Police Department for animal cruelty charges on Sept. 9.

Arriving at the home located at 21 East Street, Unit 3D, at 9:15 a.m., Mansfield Police Detectives John Armstrong and Kenneth Wright, along with Animal Control Officer Jeff Collins and Town of Norton and Foxboro Animal Control Officers gained access to the condo and found three adult dogs and four puppies.
Authorities had learned that the dogs were not cared for in the last 48 hours and an investigation showed that no one had been seen coming and going from the condo since Sept. 9.

All of the dogs were taken to a local shelter where they will be examined by a veterinarian and cared for.
Aristide is currently being held at the Norfolk County House of Correction on $2,500 cash bail and has been ordered by a judge to stay away from animals while this case is pending.
