Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested After Sideswiping Car on Route 495
Charges include drunk driving, driving to endanger, and a marked lanes violation.

A driver from Northpoint, N.Y. has been accused of sideswiping a car on Route 495 over the weekend while drunk driving.
Marc Liu, 49, pleaded not guilty Monday afternoon during his arraignment in Attleboro District Court according to the Sun Chronicle. He was released on his own recognizance.
He was charged drunk driving, driving to endanger, a marked lanes violation and driving with an open container of alcohol.

According to state police, Liu was stopped in Mansfield on Route 495 North near the exit to Route 140. He was allegedly driving erratically while on the highway in Norton.
While driving on the highway, Liu allegedy boxed in and hit a car with a family of four. No injuries were reported.

Police said that they found a partially empty, half-pint bottle of rum in the center console of Liu’s car.
Lui is due back in court on Nov. 17.
