• Man critically injured in motorcycle accident in Mansfield (boston25news.com) — A serious motorcycle crash on the I-495 north to Route 140 north ramp in Mansfield left a man in critical condition Saturday evening after he went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated by local firefighters. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, and state police are still investigating the cause, so expect possible ongoing police activity in that area.
   

• Massachusetts Delivers Specialized Firefighter Training for Building Collapses and Major Emergencies (hollistonreporter.com) — Mansfield firefighters were among more than two dozen Massachusetts crews who just completed an intensive eight-day Structural Collapse Rescue Technician course in Bridgewater, sharpening skills for building collapses and other complex emergencies. The free state-run training focused on lifting heavy debris, breaching concrete, and stabilizing damaged structures, helping ensure better-prepared local responders if a major incident ever hits town.
