MANSFIELD, MA —With fall in full swing, Mansfield is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help keep the community clean.
Registration is now open for the annual Mansfield Fall Litter Sweep, which will run from Nov. 1-15.
Hundreds of residents are expected to take to the streets to help spruce up the town before winter arrives. Volunteers will collect litter along roadsides, in parks, on school grounds and in other public spaces.
While participants are welcome to bring their own cleanup tools, trash bags and litter grabbers will be provided.
Registration is free, and anyone interested in lending a helping hand can sign up online.
Once registered, volunteers will be contacted by a cleanup captain, who will provide additional information, including guidelines and assigned routes.
For residents looking to make a difference in their community, the Fall Litter Sweep offers a chance to help keep Mansfield clean while preparing the town for the colder months ahead.
