Aptowitz Named Selectmen Chairman

MANSFIELD, MA - A new Board Selectmen elected an old face to be their new chairman.

Thursday night, Jess Aptowitz was voted as the head of the board. It is the first time Aptowitz has held the position since the 2013-14 political calendar.

Aptowitz replaces George Dentino, who served as the chair since 2014.

The meeting was the first for the new board since Michael Trowbridge and Steve Schoonveld were elected as members.
