Armed Robbery at the Mansfield Service Station on Tuesday Night
Suspect reported to have taken $360.

Mansfield Police responded to a call from a manager at the Mansfield Gas Service station on Chauncy Street late Tuesday night reporting an armed robbery around 10:30 p.m.
The caller said that a masked suspect pointed what he said was a gun (police observed in the security tapes something in his pocket) at his employee and demanded money from the register.
The suspect was described as a thin black male at a height of five feet seven inches. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, navy blue pants with a black ski mask.

The suspect fled the scene with about $360. Police searched the area but was unable to apprehend the suspect.
Detective Paul Hargadon is heading up the current investigation into the robbery.
