For the 8th year in a row Home Instead Senior Care will be sponsoring the Be A Santa to a Senior program. This program gives back to local seniors who most likely would not have received a holiday gift. One of our local partners is the Mansfield Housing Authority, 70 gift requests have been made for the seniors living here. In total there are over 300 gift requests.
Holiday trees with gift request tags have been set up all over the local area. Visit www.beasantatoasenior.com to see tree locations. A tree is also located at 555 Pleasant St. #104 in Attleboro. Once you take a gift request tag you buy the present and then bring it back to the location where you took the tag. Example of gift requests from the seniors: large print books, lotion, silky scarfs, hat and glove set.
This is a great way to help out a population that is often forgotten at this time of year.
