Bid to Repair Memorial Hall Roof Lines up with Town's Budget

If things continue to go well, the work could be completed before the winter.

The low bid to replace the Memorial Hall roof is right in line with what the town budgeted for repairs.

Town Manager Bill Ross told the Sun Chronicle while a winning bid has not been selected, the low bid met the town’s expectation. There were five bids to replace the leaky roof ranging from $128,000 to $208,000.

Home to the school administrative offices, the roofing is part of a multi-stage renovation. If things continue to go well, the work could be completed before the winter.
