It's a crock of .... fun fall flavor!

Fantastic Flavors of Fall

Alliteration! Who doesn't love it? Fun, fall, flavor is exactly what you'll have making this easy mulled apple cider recipe in your crockpot. Try it this weekend and make some for Halloween night to serve your neighbors!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 Gallon of your favorite Apple Cider
  • 1/2 TBSP ground cloves
  • 2 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1/2 TBSP allspice
  • 2 - 3 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 an orange, sliced

  • Add all the ingredients to your crockpot, stir and simmer slowly until hot. Adjust the setting of time/temperature on your crockpot accordingly. I set mine on the warmest setting available and it was ready in about 2 hours.
  • Stir before serving. Some may prefer to strain their cider if you don't like sediment in your cup, or opt to use whole cloves and allspice berries. This was simple for me, though, as I had the ground spices in my cabinet already!
  • Double the ingredients for a gallon of cider.

There so many ways to make this recipe your own. Just be careful who you serve it to if you make yours "for adults only." :-)
