It's a crock of ... Ho, Ho, Hot Cocoa!

This decadant drink is just what Santa wants when he gets to your house.

If you usually leave a little something for Santa on Christmas Eve, try whipping up a crock of this out-of-this-world cocoa! Since it's so easy to set up, the kids can do it themselves. It's great if you're having company on Christmas Eve too, just set it on low and forget it (except that you have to stir it occasionally).

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 Cups of Heavy Cream
  • 1 14oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 Cups Chocolate Chips (I used semi-sweet morsels)
  • 6 Cups of Milk (I used skim milk)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

DIRECTIONS:  Mix all the ingredients together in your crock pot, and cover and cook on low for 2 hours; coming back to whisk frequently as the chocolate morsels start to melt.

Serve in your favorite winter mugs with mini-marshmallows, a gob of marshmallow fluff, whipped cream, cinammon stick, candy cane or sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg. What do you like to add to your cocoa?
