Just in time for the weekend, this meal will be gobbled up in no time.

Just in time for the weekend, this meal will be gobbled up in no time. It's super easy and makes an easy weeknight dinner too. Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese is sure to please anyone that loves pasta and cheese. It may not look like the stuff out the box, or your own homemade recipe; I have to tell you my kids are partial to both and they thought this was delicious!

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 16 oz pkg macaroni
  • 1 TBSP vegetable oil
  • 1 13 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 C milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 C shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C melted butter

DIRECTIONS:

  • Cook macaroni in boiling water, following package directions. Drain well.
  • Grease bottom and sides of your crockpot
  • Toss hot macaroni in the crock with the vegetable oil and then all the remaining ingredients.
  • Stir to combine, then cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

I would suggest limiting the cook time on your macaroni depending how you like it, aldente or extra tender, because it will continue to cook in the crockpot.

As always, crockpots vary in temperature, so adjust yours accordingly.
