Cafe at Commuter Rail Stop Open Again
The Firebox Cafe is now open weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to noon.

After months of locked doors, the coffee shop at the commuter rail stop is now open again.
The Firebox Cafe recently announced on Facebook that they are now opening for business during the morning commute.
The cafe had been closed since June after the previous vendor, Judy Jonah decided to retire.

The new cafe is run by Mansfield selectman Oliver Koslowski and Steven DiSarro Jr., who were awarded the bid to operate the building in August.
Originally expected to open around Labor Day, controversy arose when it was discovered by the Sun Chronicle that DiSarro had been arrested in 2012 on drugs and weapons charges.

The drug related charges were dropped but DeSarro pled guilty to a gun charge that was later dismissed. DiSarro said that he expects the charges to be expunged from his record.
