Capriotti's Coming to Mansfield

Capriotti's, a sub shop, is coming to Mansfield.

The Las Vegas-based sandwich restaurant is scheduled to open a location May 12 at 321 School St.

There will be a week of giveaways, including gift cards, $1 sandwiches, free cookies and drinks, and T-shirts.

Capriotti's is known for its sub "The Bobbie," made with roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. It also serves a "Capastrami" with pastrami, Swiss cheese, cole slaw and Russian dressing.

Capriotti's was established in 1976 and with now has over 100 locations across the country. The Mansfield shop will be its third Massachusetts location.

“Capriotti’s has seen great success with our locations on the East Coast, so we are proud to announce we will be opening our third Massachusetts location in the coming month,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s, in a statement. “We anticipate a warm reception from the local community in Mansfield and look forward to bringing additional locations to our fans in Massachusetts in the near future.”
