Charges Unlikely in Two Fatal Mansfield Accidents

Police say that there will likely be no charges in two fatal accidents that took place in Mansfield on June 3.

In the first accident, a bus driver hit 13-year-old Shane Farrell after he fell off his bike on East Street. Investigators say the driver could not have avoided the accident, according to the Sun Chronicle.

90 minutes later, an 8-month-old baby died when a minivan struck the rear end of a car on Eastman Street. Speed was not a factor and the infant was secured in a baby seat.
