Chauncy Street Train Station Lot to Remain Open

MANSFIELD, MA — A train station parking lot that was scheduled to close this week will stay open, Town Manager Bill Ross said.

Last week, commuters who park at the lot at 75 Chauncy St. were informed that the lot was being sold and closed. The 100-vehicle lot is however, remaining open for business.

Ross told the Sun Chronicle that new owner Turner Brothers Construction will use the lot for parking and is considering automating the area to make it easier. Redevelopment, however, is possible in the future, Ross said.
