Date Selected for Special Election on Proposed Public Safety/DPW Complex
Residents will decide if they will support a debt exclusion to pay for the project in September.

Mansfield voters will head to the polls on Sept. 15 to decide whether or not to support a debt exclusion to pay for a proposed $35 million public safety and public works complex.
On Wednesday, the selectmen voted for the date which was recommended by Town Manager William Ross according to the Sun Chronicle.
At the Annual Town Meeting, voters overwhelmingly supported the project, which would move the police, fire, and public works departments to the current DPW site on East Street.
