December 31
12:56 a.m. - During a domestic disturbance, a 27-year-old and a 21-year-old were issued summons for assault and battery on a family/household member.
4:23 a.m. - A 46-year-old from Attleboro on Hampshire Street was taken into protective custody.

5:02 a.m. - During a domestic disturbance, a 27-year-old was issued a summons for larceny over $250.

12:52 a.m. - Two people were issued summons on Chauncy Street. A 28-year-old from Brockton was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a 28-year-old from Taunton was charged with attaching plates, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered vehicle.
6:52 a.m. - Joanne McLaughlin, 43, of Mansfield, was arrested on Pratt Street on a warrant.
3:03 p.m. - A caller on South Main Street told police that the operator of a vehicle just pulled in with two flat tires and may have been involved in a crash. A witness told police that the crash happened at the bottom of the “S curves” just before exit 11 on Interstate 495, The driver, Kenneth Griest, 61, of Norton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (third offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.
7:59 p.m. - During a traffic stop on School Street, a 37-year-old from Norton was issued a summons for speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
January 3
9:54 a.m. - A stolen package was reported on Lewis Road.
