Enrollment Numbers at Mansfield Schools Continue to Decrease
The latest numbers were revealed at this week's School Committee meeting.

MANSFIELD, MA — Enrollment numbers are continuing to go down, according to new statistics discussed at this week’s Mansfield School Committee meeting
At the start of school, the Mansfield Public Schools had 3,991 students, according to figures posted by the Sun Chronicle. That’s a decrease from 4,084 students at the beginning of school last year.
Qualters Middle School saw the biggest drop, decreasing from 1,054 to 1,017. The high school is down from 1,348 to 1,332 and the elementary schools are down from a combined 1,593 to 1,546.

The peak of the enrollment bubble came in 2011 when over 4,700 students were enrolled in Mansfield schools.
