Ex-Mansfield Man Admits to Pawning Stolen Rings, Gets Jail Time

MANSFIELD, MA - A former Mansfield resident will spend time behind bars after pleading guilty to pawning two stolen rings and violating his probation.
Kyle M. Trahan, 26, was sentenced to nine months in jail after pleading guilty to receiving stolen property, according to the Sun Chronicle. He also received a concurrent one-year jail term for violating his probation from a similar 2012 case.
The rings, which included a wedding band, were valued at $8,000 and were recovered by police at a store in the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro. They were stolen from a Newton home where Trahan worked as a contractor.
