Fast Food Special Permit, Town Budget, Marijuana Moratorium on Tap For Town Meeting
The Annual Town Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m Tuesday night at Mansfield High School.

MANSFIELD, MA — A $42 million municipal budget, moratorium on recreational marijuana, and a zoning change to allow more fast food restaurants are all on the table at Tuesday's Annual Town Meeting.
At the top of the meeting, residents will vote on the municipal budget and a $49 million school budget. The town-side budget is up 6.83 percent and the school budget is up about 4.25 percent.
Voters will also have a say on a proposed moratorium on recreational marijuana businesses in sale, allowing the town more time to review the impact of such businesses. The moritorium will be adopted when the state adopts the final regulations for recreational marijuana or June 1, 2020, whichever one comes first.
