GoFundMe Campaign Aims to Support Family of Shane Farrell
A new campaign has emerged to help the Farrell family during this difficult time.

The intent was to help the family of a fallen teen pay for the funeral, but a GoFundMe campaign to help the family of Shane Farrell has become more.
As of 11 a.m. on June 5, the campaign has raised over $35,000 for the Farrell family as they cope with the dead of 13-year-old Shane.

“Friends and family have asked, “What can we do?” Some are providing comfort and prayers; others are providing meals or assembling photo collages. Helping to cover the funeral costs or other personal expenses would also be helpful. If you feel you could help in any way, it would take some of the financial burden away at this horrible time of grief,” campaign creator Fran Linden said on the GoFundMe page.
In addition to passing the original goal, the page has been shared over 1,500 times on Facebook. Linden said the family is free to use any extra donations as they see fit.
