Hit-and-Run Near Xtra Mart

Thur., May 29
- 12:52 a.m. Police checked on a vacation house.
- 1:57 a.m. Β A Norwood man was charged with driving with an expired license and failure to have an inspection sticker on his sport utility vehicle on Chauncy Street.
- 5:47 a.m. A Fall River man was cited for speeding on Route 140 northbound.
- 8:30 a.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported near the Xtra Mart on South Main Street.
- 11:49 a.m. Police went to the home of a woman who lives on Francis Avenue to speak with her about a mug she stole from a local Dunkin' Donuts. She paid for the mug and Dunkin' Donuts told police they were satisfied with the resolution.
- 12:52 p.m. A Taunton woman was charged with speeding in a school zone on Eddy Street.
- 7:33 p.m. A Foxborough woman was given a verbal warning for texting while driving on East Street.
- 8:12 p.m. A Mansfield woman was given a verbal warning for illegally passing a vehicle on South Main Street.
- 10:52 p.m. A Woonsocket, R.I. man was charged with driving with a suspended license.
