Improper Gun Storage, Assault, And More: Mansfield Police Log

July 5

1:11 a.m. - After responding to a domestic disturbance, a 21-year-old was taken into protective custody.

8:46 a.m. - Christopher Metrano, 40, of Mansfield, was arrested on Pratt Street on a warrant.

July 7

12:06 p.m. - A 17-year-old at Mansfield Crossing received a summons for shoplifting by asportation.

10:38 p.m. - A caller at the Holiday Inn on Hampshire Street told police that a guest left a gun inside a room. The owner of the gun, a 29-year-old from Foxborough, received a summons for improper storage of a large-capacity firearm near a minor.

11:47 p.m. - Police responded to a report of alcohol poisoning on Denwood Street. Three 19-year-olds From Mansfield were charged with underage possession of liquor and one of the teens was charged with selling/delivering alcohol to a person under 21.

July 8

The following people were taken into custody at the Nickelback concert at the Xfinity Center:

• One person was taken into protective custody.

July 9

2:37 a.m. - During a well being check, a 32-year-old was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, witness intimidation, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
