Interim Superintendent Zeffro Gianetti Appointed as Permanent Superintendent
The Mansfield School Committee voted 5-0 to name Zeffro Gianetti the superintendent of schools.

Mansfield has their new superintendent of schools and they didn’t have to go far to find him.
Interim Superintendent Zeffro Gianetti was approved as the new permanent superintendent Thursday night by the school committee, ending the town’s search to replace Brenda Hodges.
“Mr. Gianetti has a leadership style that is collaborative, respectful, and genuine and is appealing to everyone. They collectively feel he holds the skills necessary to move the schools forward in a positive direction,” Committee Chairman Michael Trowbridge said.

Following the resignation of Hodges in July, Gianetti, who was previously the principal of the Qualters Middle School, was named interim superintendent.
After the vote, the school committee and Gianetti agreed in principle to a three-year contract that would pay him $160,000 with a cap of 75 sick days to be carried.
