Juvenile Arrested in Mansfield Stabbing
A 29-year-old was taken to Rhode Island Hospital after a reported stabbing on Old Colony Way.

A juvenile was arrested Saturday night in connection to a stabbing in Mansfield.
At around 7:36 p.m., the Mansfield Police Department received a transferred 911 call from the Massachusetts State Police reporting a stabbing at 47 Warren Ave.
After police responded, a 29-year-old victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious wounds. By the time police arrived, the suspect had fled the area.

Police were able to locate the suspect about a 1/2 mile away in a parking lot on Old Colony Way. He was taken into custody without incident.
Due to the suspect’s age, his name is not being released.

As of Saturday night, the victim is in serious, but stable condition.
Detectives John Armstrong and Nicole Boldrighini are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
