Please support David Martin for Selectman in the special election on Tuesday, November 14. In a crowded field, we believe David is the best candidate to help continue building a better Mansfield.

Like most of Mansfield, we are proud of the progress our Town has made over the last several years. It hasn’t always been easy, and we certainly don’t claim all the credit, but there’s a real sense of progress and momentum that comes from dedicated people willing to work together.

David Martin has been part of the solution, joining our rejuvenated Industrial Development Commission where he has helped craft the economic development strategies that will enable Mansfield to grow and prosper for years to come. A former public defender, David volunteers as Attorney Coach for the Mansfield High School Mock Trial team. He also serves on the Finance Committee for Sturdy Hospital and previously served on our Town’s Historical Commission.

As an experienced policy expert in the field of health care, David knows how to focus first on the big picture, identify problems, develop solutions, and measure results. As Executive Director for a health-based not-for-profit, he works with his Board of Directors to develop and achieve collectively agreed-upon goals and objectives. David understands from experience that, once goals are set, focus and persistence are key to success.

David is married to attorney Christie Martin and they have three daughters - a 2017 MHS grad now at Holy Cross, an MHS Senior and an 8th grader at QMS. He is committed to maintaining Mansfield’s excellent school system as well as Town services we can all be proud of.

Mansfield is fortunate to have so much interest in this election, and we are encouraged that so many candidates want to help the Town continue to prosper. But, in a crowded field, David Martin is a cut above.
Please vote on November 14.
