I am so honored to have the opportunity to serve Mansfield as the newest member of the school committee.  With the election over, I would like to take this time to thank the many people involved with my campaign.  I couldn’t have achieved this without the support of so many.

To all my friends and neighbors who held signs, sent emails, and most importantly made the effort to vote, thank you. Your unwavering support was a source of strength for me throughout the election.  To those of you I don’t know personally who made the effort to learn about me, thank you.  As a first time candidate, I was overwhelmed but this unsolicited support throughout the campaign.

I especially would like to thank my husband Dan and my children Ryan, Jolie and Michael, who encouraged me to take on this challenge and supported me throughout the process.   I could not have done this without you.

I congratulate Michael Trowbridge, on his reelection to a sixth term.  His experience and knowledge will be a valuable resource for me and I look forward to serving with him and the other members of the school committee.

I would also like to thank Frank DelVecchio and Wayne Smith  for making this campaign a positive experience.  Democracy is best served when voters are given quality choices on election day.  I would also like to thank Frank for his six years of service to Mansfield.

To my supporters and the Town of Mansfield, I look forward to serving you for the next three years and hope that I serve in such a way that the confidence you showed in me on election day will not wane.  I now have the opportunity to bring forward those tenets from my campaign that were clearly supported by the outcome of the election: improved communication, strategy and goal-setting, and community collaboration.
