Police Search Following 'Lifeless' Child Report Comes Up Empty
There were heavy delays on I-495 Wednesday evening following reports of a woman with a child near the woods.

MANSFIELD, MA — State Police activity on Interstate 495 in the Mansfield/Norton caused heavy delays during the Wednesday commute home. Several reports indicated that police were searching the wooded area after receiving word of a woman walking with a "lifeless" child in the area.
The search, which included K-9 units and helicopters, brought traffic to a standstill. At one point, traffic between the 495-95 Interchange and Route 123 in Norton came to a halt

Police were unable to find the woman or a child, according to the Boston Globe.
