Local Teen in Critical Condition After Mansfield Crash Improving
An Attleboro teen injured in a crash on Route 495 in Mansfield remains in critical condition but is improving.

A local teen involved in a car crash on Route 495 is in critical condition but is showing signs of improvement.
Christopher Hutcheon, 19, of Attleboro, was sent to Rhode Island Hospital early Saturday morning after the vehicle he was in broke in two after going off the highway and landing on the median strip according to the Sun Chronicle.
Christopher’s twin brother, Cameron, said on Twitter that Christopher was speaking and is out of a medically-induced coma.

“Great way to start the day off, Chris said “Hi debby” to the nurse taking care of him. Keep it up kid your the strongest person I know!” Cameron said from his account.
As of 2 p.m. Monday, Christopher remains in critical condition according to Rhode Island Hospital.

The accident, which took place just before Exit 10 on Route 495, sent four people to the hospital. Cameron, a 19-year-old woman from Seekonk, and an 18-year-old from Attleboro all were in the car and received non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.
