Longtime Xfinity Center GM Leaving Post

After nearly 30 years as the general manager of the Xfinity Center, Bruce Montgomery is leaving the post.

An employee of the venue since it’s opening as Great Woods in 1986, severe osteoarthritis forced Montgomery to step aside prior to the start of the 2015 concert season according to the Sun Chronicle.

Before coming to Mansfield, Montgomery was a member of the stage crew at Harvard before joining the Orpheum Theater in Boston, eventually getting promoted to general manager.
