Man Charged With Assault After Brandishing Knife in Mansfield Restaurant

A Mansfield man was charged with threatening someone with a knife at a local restaurant on Monday afternoon.

Charles Ingolia, 28, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

At 2:54 p.m., police received a 911 call for a male who flashed a knife at the Catman Cafe after being asked to leave.

Police dispatched to find the man spotted him on Chauncy Street in the area of Highland Avenue.

Ingolia was arraigned in Attleboro District Court on Tuesday and was ordered held pending a competency evaluation according to the Sun Chronicle.
