Man In Mansfield Drunken Driving Case Almost Struck Cars: Cops

MANSFIELD, MA — An Attleboro man was arrested after allegedly nearly hitting other vehicles while driving, police said.
Erik B. Levins, 45, was arraigned in Attleboro District Court Thursday on a charge of operating under the influence of liquor (second offense). He was ordered held without bail after his bail for unrelated domestic assault and vandalism charges were revoked, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Levins was taken into custody on Copeland Drive at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Prosecutors say a witness called police after observing a vehicle being operated erratically and nearly striking other vehicles on Interstate 495.

Levins is due back in court Jan. 16.
