Person Fatally Struck By Train In Mansfield
Police and fire officials are at the scene.
MANSFIELD, MA — Police and fire officials are near the train tracks by Norfolk Street for a person who was struck by a train, according to MBTA Transit Police.
At about 9:30 p.m. Monday night, police responded to a report possibly struck by a MBTA Commuter Rail train. Police and fire officials at the scene confirmed that a man on the tracks was struck by a train traveling to Providence.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 19-year-old Kyle Johnson of North Attleboro.

The incident is under investigation, but police say foul play is not suspected.
