Man at Toby Keith Concert Arrested Twice in Two Hours

MANSFIELD, MA — A Fall River man who was in Mansfield to see Toby Keith at the Xfinity Center was arrested twice within a two hour time period.

Dustin DaPonte, 31, was arrested Friday night and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest. He pleaded innocent during his arraignment Monday in Attleboro District Court and is free on his own recognizance, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Police say DaPonte was arrested around 10:30 p.m. following an altercation in the seating area. He allegedly kicked an officer, with police using a taster on him.

Two hours later, DaPonte was taken into custody outside of the police station. Police say he was upset that he had to wear a a plastic garment prior to his girlfriend's arrival at the station.

DaPonte is due back in court on Sept. 17.
