Man Wanted for Bristol Liquors Robbery Taken Into Custody

Donald Deltufo, 55, was arrested during a traffic stop in Brockton.

MANSFIELD, MA — Less than 18 hours after asking the public for help with identifying a man wanted in a liquor store robbery, the Mansfield Police Department has their man.

Donald Deltufo, 55, with addresses in Braintree and Brockton, was arrested in Brockton and will be charged with larceny, according to the Mansfield Police Department.

Police say Deltufo robbed Bristol Liquors twice in a two week period, with the stolen merchandise totaling $500.

Deltufo was arrested after state police stopped a red Pontiac with canceled plates, driven by Deltufo, police said. A Facebook post with his photo helped police identify the suspect less than a day after the post was published.
