Mansfield Bank Employee Given Boston Magazine Award
Richard Bergeron, CFP®, ChFC®, AEP® of MCB Financial Services at Mansfield Bank Earns FIVE STAR Wealth Manager Award

MCB Financial Services, a division of Mansfield Bank in Mansfield announced Wednesday that its Financial Consultant, Richard E. Bergeron, has been named a 2011 Five Star Wealth Manager by Boston Magazine for overall client satisfaction. Less than 7% of wealth managers in the Boston area were named to the list.
Since joining MCB Financial Services in October, 2004, Richard has also qualified for each of the past five years as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from The American College, was awarded the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designation by his peers of the Bristol County Estate Planning Council (BCEPC), and served as the BCEPC chapter’s President. With over 17 years of wealth management experience, Richard, a Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®) practitioner, offers access to an array of financial services through Commonwealth Financial Network (Member FINRA/SIPC) including comprehensive financial planning guidance as well as investment and insurance products.

The 2011 FIVE STAR Wealth Manager list contains the wealth managers in a given market who score highest in overall satisfaction, based on an objective market research methodology that takes into account client evaluations in nine categories: integrity, communication, meeting of financial objectives, knowledge/expertise, quality of recommendations, customer service, value for fee charged, post-sale service, and overall satisfaction.
Each wealth manager is also reviewed by peers, regulatory compliance boards, and a Blue Ribbon panel. The 2011 FIVE STAR Wealth Managers do not pay a fee to be included in the research or in the final list of FIVE STAR Wealth Managers.
