Mansfield Boys' Basketball Earns Top Seed, Girls Take Fourth

Mansfield boys’ basketball has earned the top seed in the MIAA Division 1 South tournament. They will face the winner of New Bedford/North Quincy on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Mansfield.
In the Division 1 South girls’ tournament, the Hornets earned the fourth seed and will play the winner of Bridgewater-Raynham/Marshfield on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Mansfield.
The winner of Brookline/Marshfield await the winner of the boys game while the winner of the girls’ game will face either Braintree or the winner of the Wellesley/Brockton preliminary match.

The boys finished the season with a record of 20-2 while the girls were 17-4.
In hockey, the 10-10 Hornets earned the ninth seed and drew fifth seeded Duxbury. The Hornets will play the Dragons at a time and location to be announced.
