Mansfield Boys' Soccer Advance to MIAA D1 South Quarterfinal
The Hornets defeated King Philip High School 2-1 in the second round of the tournament.
It was close, but the Mansfield boys’ soccer team escaped the second round of the MIAA Division 1 South tournament with a win, earning a 2-1 victory over No. 12 King Philip.
With the win, the fifth-ranked Hornets will face No. 4 Needham in the quarterfinal round on Nov. 8. Match time is to be announced.
