Mansfield Could Be Home For New Brewery

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield may make a run for a local brewery looking for a new location in Bristol County.

Selectman Neil Rhein said at Wednesday's selectmen he saw a Facebook post from the Anawan Brewery company announcing their intent to move to the area and forwarded it to Town Manager Kevin Dumas. The town manager said he expects to meet with the company and will report back at the next selectmen meeting.

“That would be something very interesting to bring to the area,” Dumas said.

Few details of the company are available on the company's website, which says they are a veteran-owned nano brewery established in 2017.
